Bálint Juhász received his MA in Art History from Eötvös Loránd University in 2013. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of History of Pázmány Péter Catholic University. His main field of research is the history of the so-called Hungarian School of Rome, a loose grouping of Hungarian artists with state scholarships who stayed in the Italian capital during the interwar period, as well as Italian and Slovak modernism. After completing internships at the Art History Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Museum of Fine Arts, he currently works as a curator at the Fine and Applied Arts Collection of the Hanseatic Museum in Mosonmagyaróvár, Hungary.
