He graduated in 2005 from the Department of Hungarian Language and Literature at SZTE BTK and from the Department of Cultural Organising and Media at SZTE-JGYTFK. From 2008 to 2010 he was a student at The Getty Conservation Institute, Los Angeles and the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Bratislava. In 2013, he was a fellow at NEDCC, Andover, USA. In 2019, he received his PhD in Aesthetics from the ELTE BTK Doctoral School of Philosophy.
As a writer, editor and curator, he is an active participant in the Hungarian photographic scene. From 2008 to 2015 he was a member of the Studio of Young Photographers, of which he was a board member from 2011 until 2013. From 2005 until 2019 he worked as a research associate at the Hungarian Museum of Photography, and from 2018 to 2019 as curator at the Mai Manó House. He has been a member of the Hungarian Society for the History of Photography since 2020. He has taught at several universities and is currently a guest lecturer at the Metropolitan University. As of 2022, he is the Chief Museologist of the Photo Archive of KEMKI Archive and Documentation Center (ADK).
