He graduated from the Department of Art History at ELTE in 1999, and from the Department of Hungarian Language and Literature in 2000. From 1999 until 2002 he was a young research fellow at the Research Group for Art History of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. From 2002 until 2006 he worked at the Hungarian National Gallery, from 2006 until 2009 at the Collection of International Art after 1800 of the Museum of Fine Arts. Since 2022 he is Chief Museologist of KEMKI Archive and Documentation Center (ADK). His fields of expertise include 19th and 20th century Hungarian and world art, international relations of Hungarian art, and the history of art history writing. His publications also cover these topics, and he also works as an editor of professional and reference publications.
