Fanzine Anatomy finissage

concert and video interview marathon

1135 Budapest, Szabolcs str. 33–35., building D, 1st floor
#fanzine #punk culture #interview 2025.09.19. 12:00 - 19:00

On the final day of the collection exhibition, all video interviews in connection with the Fanzine Anatomy will be screened in their entirety. What makes the video interview marathon special is that we will be showing two films – made by Mihály Rácz and Tamás Rupaszov – that we have never shared publicly before.

Interviewees:

  • Judit Acsády, sociologist, activist, editor of Nőszemély feminist journal, member of the Feminist Network
  • Zoltán Legény (“Dr. Slayer”), creator of the fanzine called Total Addiction,  a prominent figure of the hardcore-punk scene, member of Human Error
  • Mihály Rácz, one of the pioneers of the Hungarian fanzine culture, creator of a Mély Vágás (Deep Cut) and Második Látás (Second Sight)
  • Tamás Rupaszov, founder of the band Trottel and Trottel Records, a key figure of the underground music culture since the 80s

After the screening, Viki Taskovics will play music, an active participant in the contemporary punk scene in Szeged and Budapest (currently in the band Energia80), who likes to delve into this subculture as a researcher as well.
