KEMKI's Participation in the Látkép Conference

The Látkép Art History Festival, organized by the HUN-REN Research Centre for the Humanities, will take place between September 25 and 27, 2025. KEMKI will be represented at the academic conference by the Archive and Documentation Centre and the Research Department.

On Thursday, September 25, we will give three presentations within the section exploring the methodological challenges of avante-garde research between the two world wars:

  • Sára Bárdi (KO): „The Art of Exhibitions” between the two world wars: questions and possible approaches of an ephemeral genre
  • Magdolna Gucsa (KO): Beyond aesthetics: racial policy arguments and transnational dynamics in the discourse on the “School of Paris”
  • Judit Radák (ADK): "Constructive surrealist themes" on the border between East and West

 

 

On Friday, September 26, those who are interested can participate in the Art Analysis 2025 section organized by Ferenc Gosztonyi (ADK). Balázs Zoltán Tóth (ADK) analyzes the temporal nexus of sequence, a characteristic photographic image type of the 1970s and 1980s, within the Photography as Time II section.
