He is co-author of the handbook entitled Hungarian Art in the 20th Century (1999) and curated the exhibition Destiny and Symbol: Hungarian Art in Transylvania 1920-1990 (2015, Hungarian National Gallery). He was awarded the Pasteiner Medal and the Lajos Németh Prize in 2000, and the Elek Petrovics Prize in 2012.
