    250 x 170 cm, hand-stitched carpet IDEA was founded in 1984 as a subsidiary of the Art Fund of the Hungarian People’s Republic and engaged in applied arts-related trade. Its tasks included the commercial distribution and sale of applied art objects. Following the change in regime, IDEA went bankrupt. Its liquidation proceedings began in 1990 and were completed in 2000, thus terminating IDEA with no legal successor.  Logo designed by PÁL ANTAL

    János Tornyai (1869–1936) was an outstanding painter of the Hungarian Great Plains, an organizer of the Hódmezővásárhely artists’ group, and the establisher of the ethnographic and fine arts collection of the local municipal museum named after him.
